Dimi stands at the forefront, driven by her passion for connection, collaboration and community.
She is the visionary behind the captivating 'Girls Want High Tea' events and the soon-to-be Lunch Social. With a profound passion for baking, cooking, styling, hosting, and educating, Dimi is not only the esteemed founder of her stunning French Linen lifestyle brand, Inspired Table @inspiredtable.au, but also the driving force behind her popular social media platform @celebratebydimi.
Dimi grew up immersed in the hospitality industry, with her father as a talented chef and her mother as a professional baker and dessert queen. Her parents ran their successful restaurant in Temora, Diners Choice for almost 30 years—a beloved venue cherished by the town and visitors alike. Dimi’s parents now run a charming vintage food van, Sugar and Spice, @sugarandspicetemoransw, which you may have spotted at Lake Centenary on Sundays. Once again, they’re bringing deliciousness to the town. Dimi inherited their drive, passion, creativity, and attention to detail in food and hosting. Food is their love language.
Dimi's journey over the past two decades has been a vibrant tapestry of experiences, spanning continents as she dedicated herself to shaping young minds in primary school classrooms and early childhood education settings. Amidst her adventures, she balanced her commitment to nurturing young hearts and minds with her deep culinary passions, all while establishing roots in both Temora and Sydney.
In 2024, Dimi fulfilled a dream as a contestant on The Great Australian Bake Off. After years of aspiring to be part of the iconic show, her dream became a reality in 2023 when she stepped into the famous Bake Off shed. When the show aired in 2024, Dimi’s journey captivated viewers as she made it to the finale, securing a place in the top 3. Although she didn’t take home the title, Dimi walked away feeling like a true winner!
Returning from Sydney in 2024, Dimi felt a calling to align herself with her passions and to her country roots. Stepping into a new career as the Tourism Officer for Temora, which aligned beautifully. With her vision set on the next chapter, Dimi continues to embrace the ‘Four C’s’ she lives by—creativity, collaboration, community, and connection. These pillars guide her journey as she brings people together through food, storytelling, and shared experiences. Dimi is poised to infuse her creativity, dreams, and expertise into the very fabric of her hometown once more.
