The Story
Driven by her passion for connection, collaboration and community, Dimi is a baker, cook, educator, presenter, author, storyteller and creative. As the founder of Celebrate by Dimi, Inspired Table and Lunch Social, she creates meaningful experiences that bring together food, storytelling, beautiful styling, wellbeing and genuine connection.
About Dimi Jayawardene
Born in Sri Lanka and raised in the Riverina town of Temora, NSW, Dimi's love of food and hosting began in her family's restaurant, where her father was a talented chef and her mother a baker, food stylist and creative. It was there she discovered the joy of bringing people together around a table.
A finalist on The Great Australian Bake Off Season 7, Dimi has collaborated with leading brands and built a career centred around food, storytelling, styling and community. But after years of striving and working at full pace, burnout became the catalyst for a profound shift.
Inspired by her own eight-week nervous system reset, Dimi redefined what success meant to her. That journey led to the creation of her book, Heal Your Nervous System: An 8-Week Reset for Women Ready to Choose Themselves, and Lunch Social: The Reset Celebration, a thoughtfully curated experience designed to celebrate the women who choose themselves, embrace change and step confidently into their next chapter.
Today, Dimi continues to create experiences and thoughtful products that bring people together through food, storytelling, alignment and meaningful connection.
Whether she's developing recipes, presenting on camera, hosting long lunches or inspiring women to build calmer, more intentional lives, everything Dimi creates is centred around one simple belief:
